The Children's Day Hospital and Surgical Support Center is specially designed for children requiring a day visit to the hospital for a procedure or treatment and for children coming to the hospital for surgery.  To help make the hospital experience as easy and non-threatening as possible, this area features private patient rooms and recovery rooms, with plenty of space for parents to be with their children. This floor also has four infusion bays for patients who need blood or intravenous medication and a pediatric endoscopy suite and procedure room.  The dedicated family space on this floor offers big screen TVs, a teen room and a toddler play area to keep patients comfortable and entertained while they wait.  For parents, our family support area includes computers that parents can use to keep connected with work or other family members.    The Children's Day Hospital and Surgical Support Center is supported by a gift from ClearChannel.  View a virtual tour of the 5th floor.
