The Lite102.9 Our Kids Come First Radiothon is kicking off its Reindeer Raiders of the Lost Change campaign. For the past five years, the Reindeer Raiders have volunteered to “raid” their co-workers, families and friends for loose change, collectively raising close to $40,000 for The Children’s Hospital at Carolinas Medical Center. This year Lite102.9 is challenging each Raider to raise $100. Raiders who raise $100 will receive a Lite102.9 Our Kids Come First Radiothon T-Shirt.
The Raiders campaign is also expanding, offering participants the opportunity to become Reindeer Rangers. The Rangers will agree to recruit between three and five new Reindeer Raiders to help collect change. The Children’s Hospital will receive 100% of the funds raised by Reindeer Raiders and Rangers. These donations will help fund equipment and programs to provide services for children throughout the Carolinas.
