Pediatric Oncology Developmental Therapeutics program offers novel therapies using investigational drugs or new combinations of approved drugs through Phase I and II studies for children and adolescents with recurrent and refractory cancers who currently have no curative treatments available. We are members of the Therapeutic Advances in Childhood Leukemia and Lymphoma (TACL), and the Neuroblastoma and Medulloblastoma Translational Research Consortium. Affiliation with these organizations and pharmaceutical industries will give children access to new drugs which were previously not available in the Carolinas. Our team of physicians, nurses, research coordinators, social worker, research pharmacist, and supportive staff are ready to care for your child and family with unmatched expertise, experience, and technology. Our team is knowledgeable in conducting pharmacokinetic, pharmacogenetics, escalation studies and secure data management. Our equipment includes -80 refrigeration, centrifuge, and lab support for specimen handling, storage, and shipping.
