Levine Cardiac Kids - Levine Cardiac Kids is a group that supports children who are being treated for, or have recently been diagnosed with, Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) and their families.  Its goal is to provide support, education and spread awareness about congenital heart defects. Parents and their families are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this valuable resource.

Ronald McDonald House - The Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte will extend a gracious welcome and a much-needed respite to families traveling here for short-term and extended hospital stays. The Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte will be a haven for families of hospitalized children —- providing the comforts of home and the support of other families facing similar situations.

Hospitality House - Hospitality House of Charlotte's two homes provide more than just a free place to stay for families experiencing a medical crisis. Their close proximity to the area's largest hospitals – Carolinas Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital – give guests a peace of mind knowing their loved one is nearby. The personal touches, such as homemade meals, furnished rooms and words of encouragement, offer families a sense of comfort and nourishment during a traumatic period.

Pediatric Heart Research Association - Raises funding for pediatric cardiology research, education and awareness projects which focus on congenital heart disease.

Congenital Heart Defects - Provides definitions of medical terms, links to networking and support groups, articles regarding CHD and other resources for the CHD community.

The Congenital Heart Information Network provides information, support services and resources to families of children with congenital heart defects and aquired heart disease and adults with congenital heart defects.

Toys for Nicholas - A division of Pediatric Heart Research Association, provides infant toys and support items to hospitals.  These items help stimulate critically ill babies and aid in the support of their families.  These toys are given in remembrance of Nicholas Ervin Weisbrod.

KidsHealth - KidsHealth is the largest and most-visited site on the Web providing doctor-approved health information about children from before birth through adolescence. Created by The Nemours Foundation's Center for Children's Health Media, the award-winning KidsHealth provides families with accurate, up-to-date, and jargon-free health information they can use.

AHEC Digital Library  - The AHEC Digital Library (ADL) is an online resource that improves access to current medical literature and other quality health information resources for North Carolina health care professionals. Anyone can access the AHEC Digital Library as a guest. However, certain licensed resources (many of the full-text journals and books) are available only to ADL members.

CTSNet  - A leading source of educational and scientific resources information for cardiothoracic surgeons, allowing them to advance their skills and stay current with new innovations in their field.

Society of Thoracic Surgeons  - A not-for-profit educational organization representing more than 5,000 surgeons worldwide who provides heart, lung, esophageal, and other surgical procedures of the chest.

American Association for Thoracic Surgery - Promotes research and education in thoracic surgery.
