General Pediatrics at Levine Children's Hospital is the largest division in the Department of Pediatrics. Our division covers three clinical areas:
- Children's Hospital Inpatient Services (CHIPS)
- Ambulatory Services
- Term Newborn Nurseries
Our clinicians are leaders in improving child health and serving all children in need through clinical services, education and research.
Inpatient Services The Children's Hospital Inpatient Services (CHIPS) at Levine Children's Hospital is a team of physicians and midlevels who provide dedicated 24/7 care for infants, children, and adolescents while they are in the hospital.
Ambulatory Services We have several outpatient centers to serve pediatric patients. Faculty physicians see patients and supervise our pediatric residents in the Myers Park Pediatrics Clinic. Our other outpatient facilities include Teen Health Connection and Pat's Place Child Advocacy Center.
Term Newborn Nursery Our clinicians manage newborns in the term nursery. The team cares for the normal, healthy, term newborns as well as the stable late preterm (34-36 weeks) newborn.
