The National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI) introduced their National Photo Exhibit in 1993. This is a collection of photographs and children's artwork submitted by children's hospitals from all over the country. This artwork and photographs illustrate the work children's hospitals are doing and the children they are serving. Levine Children's Hospital submitted 5 photographs for consideration and one was selected to be part of the NACHRI traveling photo exhibition.
"The NACHRI traveling photo exhibition is designed to illustrate the vital role children's hospitals play in children's lives through compelling visual images of child patients at children's hospitals, their family members and the caring and compassionate staff," continued Strang. "Collectively the exhibit demonstrates why all children need children's hospitals. This year's exhibit will travel across the country to include Capitol Hill in Washington, DC where members of Congress will be invited to experience it."The photo exhibit will debut in Nashville, Tennessee at the Renaissance Nashville and Nashville Convention Center, March 22-25, 2009. |
