Chad Jacobsen, MD joined the LCH Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in January 2009. Before joining Levine Children's Hospital Dr. Jacobsen was the Medical Director on the Immunocompromised Floor at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital and an Assistant Professor in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Division. Dr. Jacobsen has spent the past 5 years focused on the diagnosis, treatment and long-term management of complications arising from tumors of the brain and spine in children.
Dr. Jacobsen graduated from the University of Dallas and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. After medical school Dr. Jacobsen completed his internship and residency at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital followed by a fellowship at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital as well.
