The 20 private patient rooms and four observation rooms on the 10th floor, made possible by the Carolina Panthers, primarily serve school-aged children hospitalized for a variety of medical conditions and for surgery of various types (general surgery, urology, orthopaedic). This floor reflects the spirit of the Panthers, featuring player pictures, team colors and other football-related themes. All patients receive autographed posters when they check into their rooms.
Patient rooms on this floor are large enough to accommodate school-aged children and their families, and the Panther's floor features a large playroom for school-aged children, as well as a classroom where they can keep up with school assignments.
