Center for Advancing Pediatric Excellence

Welcome to the LCH Center for Advancing Pediatric Excellence (CAPE) website! This site not only supports the Resident Quality Improvement (QI) Curriculum guide but also lends itself to avenues of exploration into the infrastructure of  CAPE and inventory of QI projects, tools and resources. The LCH Center for Advancing Pediatric Excellence was formed in 2007. The Center team currently consists of directors, respresentation from hospital administration, core faculty from the divisions of general pediatrics, critical care, and neonatology, a senior scientist, and the four core CAPE staff members: program manager, coordinator, QI coach and data coordinator. Operating as a center of excellence this team shares ideas, resources, and tools to pursue common goals that will improve patient care throughout the hospital.
