Dr. Preeti Matkins is the Medical Director of Pat's Place Child Advocacy Center as well as a faculty physician in the Division of General Academic Pediatrics and the Division of Adolescent Medicine. Dr. Matkins works with children of all ages within the hospital, Pat's Place, and Teen Health Connection.
Dr. Matkins graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at Carolinas Medical Center. Upon completing her residency she joined the Department of Pediatrics Faculty at Carolinas Medical Center and serves as as an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Medicine.
